Paul Pogba issued an apology in front of Manchester United’s supporters, immediately after their defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were looking to bounce back after their 4-0 hammering at the hands of Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, but lost for the seventh time in nine fixtures.
Bernardo Silva’s low strike beat David De Gea at his near post to put the visitors in front in the 54th minute, before substitute Leroy Sane made the points safe.
Pogba was slammed by United fans after their defeat to Everton, for refusing to acknowledge supporters.
But after being beaten by City, Pogba quickly headed down the tunnel once again, but after applauding the supporters.
The France international held up one hand in apology in front of the Stretford End.
