Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, and Spain international, Cesar Azpilicueta, have reacted to the sack of Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager.

Both players, who reacted via their social media handles, expressed their gratitude to Conte, after the Italian was officially sacked on Friday.

Conte was sacked after two seasons in charge despite leading the side to win the English Premier League and the English FA Cup.

Aina, a former England youth international, played eight games under the Italian in his first season before he was shipped out on loan to English Championship side, Hull City last season by the Italian.

In a post on Twitter, Aina wrote, “Grazie António,” which means ‘Thanks Antonio’ in English.

César Azpilicueta also wrote, “Thank you, mister, for the trophies we have won together and your confidence in the last 2 seasons.

“I wish you all the best in the future. #GrazieAntonio #CFC.”
