Chelsea midfielder, N’Golo Kante has spoken up on his side’s 2-0 victory over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Goals from N’Golo Kante and David Luiz ensured victory for Maurizio Sarri’s side against City at Stamford Bridge.

Kante said the Blues won against the Premier League champions because they didn’t give up.

The France international, however, said that he was happy to be on the scoresheet.

“They are a very good team,” Kante was quoted by Express UK as saying after the match.

“We suffered together then afterwards we didn’t give up and got the two goals. We are happy with the win.

“The most important thing is to give my best on the pitch. I am happy to be on the scoresheet.”

Chelsea now sit on third positions on the Premier League table with 34 points from 16 games, while City are second place with 41 points from the same number of games.

The West London club will now tackle Brighton in the Premier League fixture next week Sunday.
