Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil has spoken on his side’s 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League encounter played on Sunday evening at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2), Alexandre Lacazette (1) and Lucas Torreira (1) ensured victory for Unai Emery’s side.
Eric Dier’s strike and a lone goal from Harry Kane was not enough to get the Spurs a point.
Ozil, who did not feature for the Gunners due to a back spasm he sustained few days ago, heaped praises on his fellow teammates for their brilliant performances against the visitors.
“When Sead Kolasinac pulls out the Emirates corner flag then you know something big has happened,” Ozil tweeted.
“Proud of the whole team. North London is red!”.
Ozil will hope to recover on time before their visit to Old Trafford on Wednesday night to tackle Manchester United in the Premier League fixture.
Arsenal now sits on fourth position with 30 points from 14 games.
