Arsenal boss, Unai Emery has urged his players to start thinking about their Premier League match against Manchester United on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.
Emery said this following the Gunners’ 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2), Alexandre Lacazette (1) and Lucas Torreira (1) ensured victory for the Gunners at Emirates as goals from Eric Dier and Harry Kane were not enough to get a point for Spurs.
“Now I’m thinking about the match on Wednesday in Manchester,” ESPN quoted Emery as saying when asked whether the victory over Spurs was his most significant win so far.
“It’s a very big victory. We show our supporters and we give them this victory because it’s a very special match against Tottenham. For us it’s the same, special, but above all three points. Like last week in Bournemouth, and like Wednesday in Manchester.
“But let’s not forget, last week they were winning against Chelsea also, Tottenham, with a very big match and today they are losing against us. And Wednesday is for us a good example, we need to think now about the Manchester match.”
