Huddersfield coach, David Wagner has disclosed what Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas did to him after his side drew 1-1 with the Blues in Wednesday’s Premier League clash at the Stamford Bridge.
Laurent Depoitre opened scoring for the visitors five minutes after the break, before Marcos Alonso equalized for Antonio Conte’s men.
The result means Huddersfield secured their Premier League status for next season, while Chelsea’s hope of finishing top four may fade away with just one game remaining in the Premier League.
Wagner, however, said Fabregas refused to shake his hand after game.
According to him, the Spain international seemed very angry with the result of the match.
“Fabregas refused to shake my hand,” Wagner told reporters after the match.
“He was angry, he was speaking Spanish, I didn’t hear him.
“He had a really good game.”
Meanwhile, Fabregas attempted 145 passes against Huddersfield, a personal record, but the Blues could not break the Terrier’s resistance.
