Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has revealed that former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has backed him to pull the team out of their bad patch.
Wenger, who has made it clear he has no intention of standing down despite growing pressure at the Emirates, said: “I got many messages. I’m very grateful, you take perspective.
“Current and past, I have a good relationship with Ferguson. Sometimes he sends me a message when things don’t go well.
“I support all the managers always.
“There is no possibility in football not to suffer, you have to suffer.
“The desire to find solutions is interesting as well. When you are a young manager you think you can win every game but it’s not like that. It is to survive the disappointments. It can make you a better manager.”
