Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has placed Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez side by side for comparison as both players completed their swap deals to the Emirate Stadium and Old Trafford respectively on Monday.
The Armenia international joined Arsenal in a deal which saw Alexis Sanchez head in the opposite direction to Manchester United.
Mkhitaryan joined United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2016 and helped the club win the Europa League and the League Cup in his first season, while Sanchez joined from Barcelona.
On the Armenian international arrival at Arsenal on Monday, Wenger told reporters, “We’re replacing a very good player with a very good player, a world-class player with a world-class player.
“He’s a very complete player. He creates chances, he defends well, he can absorb distances and he’s very committed as well. ‘I must say he’s a player who has all the attributes.”
