EPL Watch: United hammer Hull, Arsenal and Liverpool grab narrow wins

Chris Smalling, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie all scored, as Manchester United recorded a back-to-back win in the Premier League, with a 3-0 thumping of Hull City.

Louis van Gaal’s men defeated Arsenal 2-1 last weekend, even with the Gunners dominating affairs for much of the match. But at Old Trafford, the Red Devils were in firm control from start to finish and maintain their fourth position on the table.

Arsenal needed a Danny Welbeck header, to see off their hosts West Brom, while Glen Johnson’s brave header gave Liverpool a much needed 1-0 win.

Burnley drew 1-1 with Aston Villa at home, West Ham beat Newcastle 1-0 at Upton Park, while Swansea were also held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace. Queens Park Rangers recorded an immpressive 3-2 win over Leicester City.
