Manchester City missed the chance to go within one point of leaders Chelsea, after they gave up a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Burnley.

David Silva gave the hosts the lead, before Fernandinho doubled the lead with a spectacular volley from the edge of the box.

George Boyd pulled one back for the visitors two minutes after the break, before Ashley Barnes blasted his side level.

Southampton held Chelsea 1-1 shortly before City kicked off.

In other games, Arsenal clinched a crucial 2-1 win over West Ham at Upton Park, Spurs and United ended without goals and Stoke City defeated West Brom 2-0 at home.

There were no goals between Aston Villa and Sunderland and in the game between Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace.
