Liverpool defender, Virgil van Dijk has issued out warning to Jurgen Klopp’s side about winning the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool are currently on top of the Premier League table this term with 45 points from 17 games.
The Reds finished in second position on the English topflight league table last campaign.
But Van Dijk has now warned his Liverpool team-mates to continue to build momentum and not to become complacent ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolves on Friday.
Speaking on Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League title, Van Dijk was quoted by Daily Star as saying: “We [Liverpool] are in mid-December and the season is still too long.
“We are very happy we’re in the position that we’re in now but that can change in two or three weeks so we won’t get carried away.
“We’ll try to keep on doing what we’re doing and, obviously, stay confident.
“It (Wolves) is another game we want to win. It’s going to be very tough there.
“They are in a great moment but so are we so we will have to prepare well and know their strengths and their weaknesses as well.”
