Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, says his side can still catch up with Chelsea should the Blues relax in the Premier League title raise.
Tottenham is currently second in the table, nine points behind Chelsea, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United all having mathematical chances of lifting the EPL title.
Pochetino was speaking ahead of Spurs clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, where he noted that there is still time to catch up with Chelsea with 14 games left to play.
He told British media, “A lot of teams are contenders. There are a lot of games ahead, it’s true Chelsea take a massive gap – nine points is a massive gap – but there is time.”
The Argentine gaffer could be without left-back, Danny Rose for the game due to knee problem.
He added, “He is very positive, we are very positive. He is happy, talking with him now before the press conference, we are happy after he saw a specialist.
“It is not a big issue. A minor problem, small problem.
“We hope ASAP, he can be available again. There are too many rumours, we need to be patient. He is very optimistic, we are happy and you will see. It’s only time.”
