EPL: Three players set to leave Chelsea in January

Three Chelsea players are expected to leave the club this month.

Lazio have made a move to sign defender Davide Zappacosta.

It would be a loan until the summer with a permanent £13m switch to follow and the Italian club is hopeful of getting a deal done.

The right-back has been restricted to just two Premier League outings this term, although he has been a regular in the Europa League.

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas is close to signing for Monaco, where he will be reunited with Thierry Henry.

Gary Cahill is also hoping to leave Stamford Bridge in the search for more regular football.

Fulham are keen on a loan deal for England defender Cahill with the 33-year-old reluctant to leave Chelsea, but wants to play games.
