Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has said Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho does not see striker Marcus Rashford as the club’s number 9.
Henry believes Rashford was left out of the United starting XI against Everton because Mourinho doesn’t fancy him as a centre-forward.
“Well obviously Jose Mourinho doesn’t fancy Marcus Rashford as a No 9,” Henry told Sky Sports.
“I think he’s played 26 games in all competitions for Man United, scored 10 goals, but under Mourinho he has not played a lot as a 9.
“All I’m thinking is that he had the education of a No 9 early in his career.
“At the end of the day you’re choosing between Martial, (Jesse) Lingard and Rashford.
“Those are not bad players, although Lukaku is not around and Ibrahimovic too.
“That will be a headache you would like to have or apparently maybe it’s not a headache for him,” the former Barcelona star said.
