EPL table: Chelsea overtake Manchester United, Liverpool beat Leicester City

Chelsea are now second on the Premier League, thanks to their 5-0 hammering of Stoke City on Saturday.

Pedro Rodriguez scored twice, while Antonio Rudiger, Danny Drinkwater, Willian and Davide Zappacosta also got on the scoresheet at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues overtake Manchester United, who could only draw 0-0 with Southampton at Old Trafford in the late kick-off.

It is the third consecutive draw for Jose Mourinho’s side, who are now one point behind Chelsea in third place.

Mohammed Salah scored twice, as Liverpool came from behind to beat Leicester City 2-1 at Anfield.

Swansea won 2-1 at Watford, Bournemouth defeated Everton 2-1 and there were no goals between Newcastle United and Brighton.
