Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has taken his final decision on the future of defenders, Eric Bailly and Ashley Young, according to ESPN.
The newspaper reports that Solskjaer has decided to give Bailly another chance to prove himself ahead of next season.
However, the manager has decided to replace Ashley Young, the report said.
Bailly found himself in and out of the team last season through a mixture of form and injuries.
The Ivory coast international has also been ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations for the Ivory Coast this summer after suffering an injury against Chelsea in April.
The newspaper report that Solskjaer has apparently cooled his interest in Harry Maguire and Kalidou Koulibaly, and is hoping Bailly will be fit enough to travel to Australia for the first pre-season games in July.
According to the report, Solskjaer is going to prioritise the signing of a right-back to replace Young.
Young featured 41 times last season, but Solskjaer reportedly wants a new right back with Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka as a target.
