Manchester United’s top four hopes suffered a big blow on Tuesday night, after they were beaten 2-1 by Wolves.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brought his team to the Molineaux, hoping to climb back into Champions League places.

United took the lead through Scott McTominay’s first goal for the club, but the hosts fought back and levelled through Diogo Jota before the break.

Ashley Young saw red, before Chris Smalling put the ball into his own goal.

The Red Devils remain fifth on the table with 61 points.
