Manchester United caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told the club to sign Bournemouth striker, Josh King when the transfer window opens in the January.

According to The Sun, Solskjaer wants King to be his first signing next month as he looks to strengthen his attack line in the second half of the season.

Solskjaer won his first match in charge of the Red Devils on Saturday.

The 45-year-old, who replaced Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford last week, led United to thrash his former club, Cardiff City 5-1 in the Premier League encounter over the weekend.

Solskjaer’s side will now tackle Huddersfield Town on Wednesday in their next Premier League fixture.

However, speaking at his unveiling, Solskjaer said he “will have an input” in the January transfer window, adding that he is a huge admirer of King.

King has scored five goals in 15 Premier League appearances so far this season.
