Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has spoken on forward, Callum Hudson-Odoi’s performance in his side’s Premier League 3-0 win over Brighton on Wednesday.
Goals from Olivier Giroud, Eden Hazard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek gave Chelsea all three points against Brighton.
Sarri said Hudson-Odoi played “very well and defended very well” in his first Premier League start and has proved he is ready to feature in very important matches for the Blues.
Speaking on Hudson-Odoi’s performance against Brighton, Sarri told BBC Sport: “Callum played very well and defended very well. He has improved during the season a lot.
“He’s ready to play 90 minutes in very important matches.”
Sarri added: “The atmosphere was really good. I want to say thank you to our fans.
“They were with us for 90 minutes. We played good football. We conceded nothing, only one goal opportunity in the last minute. ‘We did very well and scored three wonderful goals.”
