Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri has heaped praises on midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek following his side’s 2-0 win over Fulham on Sunday in the Premier League.
Goals from Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek ensured Sarri’s side defeated the visitors at the Stamford Bridge.
Sarri said he was very happy with Loftus-Cheek’s performances against Fulham, adding that the England international tactically played very well.
“In the last three weeks, Loftus-Cheek has solved me problems,” Sarri was quoted by Express UK as saying after the match.
“I was really very happy after the last match in the Europa League because I think he played the best performance from the tactical point of view.
“I was really very happy. Today I saw [Mateo] Kovacic a bit tired, so I put him [Loftus-Cheek] on the pitch without problems. I was sure about his impact in the match.”
Chelsea will now tackle Wolves on Wednesday night in their next Premier League fixture.
