Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has decided that forward, Eden Hazard, is ready to play some part of the Blues’ Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Hazard injured his back in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United last Saturday.
Sarri had suggested that the Belgium international will be available for his side’s Premier League fixture against Palace.
The Italian gaffer, however, said Hazard will play less than 45 minutes against the visitors after the 27-year-old took part in training on Thursday.
“Yesterday he had a large part of training with the team,” FourFourTwo quoted Sarri as saying in Friday’s pre-match press conference.
“Maybe he is not ready for 90 minutes at the moment because it was his first training in last two weeks but he will probably be able to play 40-45 minutes.
“For us his return is important. I don’t know if he’ll start, I want to speak to him first.”
