Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has told striker, Michy Batshuayi that he has a future at the club this season.
Batshuayi has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with Valencia reportedly interested in the striker.
According to RMC Sport, Sarri has held talks with Batshuayi and has told the striker that he is part of his plans for Chelsea’s upcoming campaign.
The report also claimed that Batshuayi is happy at Chelsea and will not push for a move away before the end of the summer window.
Batshuayi has returned to the West London club following his holiday after Belgium’s 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign but he has not yet started pre-season training with the Blues.
The Belgium international was signed from Marseille for £33million two years ago but struggled to secure a regular role under former manager, Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi started only three games in the Premier League last season before he was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.
He thrived at the Bundesliga club by scoring 9 goals in 14 appearances before his season was cut short due to an ankle ligament injury.
