EPL: Salah sets new record in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Bournemouth

Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah, on Saturday set a new record in his side’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League encounter.

Salah’s hat-trick was enough to give Jurgen Klopp’s men a deserve three points against the hosts.

According to Thesportsman, The Egyptian international broke a stunning record that was previously held by for Reds striker, Fernando Torres.

The 26-year-old became the fastest Liverpool player to score 40 Premier League goals with his tremendous feat coming in just 52 matches.

Salah has been impressive since joining Liverpool from AS Roma back in 2017.

Liverpool now top the Premier League table with 42 points from 16 games, while Manchester City are second place with 41 points from 15 games
