EPL: Sadio Mane’s team-mate insists he is “ready” for Real Madrid move

Sadio Mane’s former team-mate at Southampton, Oriol Romeu, has said the Liverpool forward is “ready” to play for Real Madrid.
Mane has emerged as a key player for the Reds since leaving St Mary’s three years ago.
The 26-year-old is enjoying his most impressive season in the Premier League, netting 11 goals in his last 11 appearances, to help Liverpool climb to the top of the table.
Reports suggest Real Madrid will try to sign Mane this summer and that the forward is interested in a move to the Bernabeu to play under Zinedine Zidane.
“He is ready. Madrid are a little weak in attack and he’s the type of player that does a lot of damage in open spaces.
“He could help them reverse their current situation. He brings variation in attack, but he’s not a prolific goalscorer like Cristiano Ronaldo, who goes well above [other forwards],” Romeu said according to the UK Metro.
