Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has named two clubs that are above the rest in the Premier League this season.
Ferdinand said Liverpool and Manchester City are “cut above the rest” in the English topflight league this term.
The former England defender stated this following United’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Wednesday night.
“There is a big difference in class but we knew that coming into this game. Liverpool and Man City are a cut above the rest in this league,” Ferdinand told BT Sport
“Everyone else is in the chasing pack. Man United are eighth and, looking at the league table, isn’t a pretty sight at all as a Man United fan and the supporters won’t be happy with that.”
City are currently on top of the Premier League table this term with 41 points from 15 games, while Liverpool are second place with 39 points from the same number of games.
