Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has named Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker as the cause of his team’s defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
He labelled the player ‘a liability’ for not doing much to stop Chelsea’s first goal.
Walker could not stop Chelsea’s opener as Willian bolted down the left wing and Ferdinand said on BT Sport, “Look at Kyle Walker sleeping!
“That’s Kyle Walker. That’s why for England, if he plays, he’ll always be a liability at the top level.”
It was goals from N’golo Kante and David Luiz in each half that secure a 2-0 win for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The win also ended Manchester City’s unbeaten start to the season.
