Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, has reacted to his side’s Premier League 4-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
Rashford netted twice, while Anthony Martial and James also got on the scoresheet, as the Red Devils defeated Frank Lampard’s side at Old Trafford.
Rashford, who won the Man of the Match award, said he was delighted with the way Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men started the new Premier League campaign.
“The intensity was top notch,” Rashford told MUTV.
“It didn’t always come off, especially in the final third and especially in the first half, but we stuck at it.
“We kept making runs, we kept making forward passes and, when we lost the ball, we tried to win it back.
“With the baseline, it was a good place to start but, at the same time, there were a lot of things we can improve on for the season. That’s the position you want to be in.”
The 21-year-old added: “I’ve said before there are like four or five players who are 100 per cent comfortable in that situation, so, for me, that’s a huge plus.
“For the keepers, it’s more difficult; they don’t know who’s going to take it and, for sure, they don’t know where the individual can put the ball.
“It’s definitely a good place for the squad to be in, in terms of penalties.”
