Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, will undergo a scan to determine the severity of an injury, sustained in the dying moments of the club’s draw with Burnley on Tuesday night.
Pogba was limping heavily in United’s dressing room, after taking a knock towards the end of the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford and required treatment from medical staff.
The Frenchman got United back into the game, when he converted from the penalty spot five minutes from time at the Theatre of Dreams, but there was no clear sign of the moment he sustained the injury.
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho, scoring six goals in eight appearances under the Norwegian.
However, United now face an anxious wait for the results of his scan, with the club fearing Pogba has sustained a thigh injury.
The Red Devils travel to Leicester City on Sunday, before a clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage on February 9.
Solskjaer will be desperate to see he is fit for the visit of Paris Saint-Germain to Old Trafford on February 12.
