Paul Pogba believes Manchester United have made a mistake by appointing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their permanent manager and remains eager to leave the club, the UK Sun reports.
Pogba enjoyed an incredible run of form under the Norwegian when he first replaced Jose Mourinho in December, but has struggled more recently as United have lost seven of their last nine games in all competitions.
It is now understood Pogba is not convinced that Solskjaer is the right man to return United to their former glory and has been criticising his recent decisions.
The midfielder reportedly told teammates that United are no better than they were when he left for Juventus seven years ago, and fears Solskjaer can do little to change that.
Pogba was also unimpressed with the manager’s approach to Wednesday’s game against Manchester City in the Premier League, criticising his long-ball tactics after the match as they tried to play in Marcus Rashford on the break.
