EPL: Pogba, Martial want Zidane to replace Mourinho at Manchester United

Manchester United stars, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, want former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane to replace Jose Mourinho at the club, according to The Telegraph, UK.

Mourinho is currently under intense pressure at the Old Trafford.

The Portuguese gaffer is unhappy with United performance in the transfer market this summer.

His relationship with the club’s board and CEO Ed Woodward is now under extreme pressure.

United have made Zidane their first choice should the situation with the Portuguese coach deteriorates further.

The Telegraph reports that Pogba and Martial want their countryman Zidane to take charge at the club.

Pogba and Mourinho have had a number of fights, arguing over his performances and best position.

On his part, Martial came close to leaving Old Trafford over the summer after growing frustrated with his lack of game time since Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January.

He was also criticised by Mourinho for not returning to the club’s tour of the United States after the birth of his son.
