EPL: Pogba gives latest update on his injury

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has provided update on his injury.

Pogba missed United’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City as a result of injury on Sunday, and will not feature in France’s games against Netherlands and Uruguay on November 16 and 20 respectively.

The 25-year-old took to his official Instagram page, @paulpogba, to reassure fans that his injury was not serious.

He also posted a image of himself walking and smiling with a caption: “Back soon @manchesterunited @equipedefrance”.

Pogba will hope to return to action for his side when they tackle Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League fixture on November 24 after the international break.

Meanwhile, Man United manager, Jose Mourinho has criticised national teams for not releasing injured players sooner in the past.

“Some of them with the national teams they were very professional with us and sent the players back and we could start the process early,” Mourinho was quoted by Manchester Evening News as saying.

“But some of them wouldn’t do that and they kept the players.

“We didn’t even know the dimension and nature of the injuries so when the players arrive two days before Chelsea, we have no idea what is going on.”
