Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is interested in signing Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi in this January transfer window.
Icardi is in the middle of a contract stalemate with Inter as the Serie A club seek to extend his current deal.
The Argentine international last signed an extension with Inter in 2016 and a clause detailed that he can leave San Siro to a club outside Italy for £100million.
According to The Mirror UK, Abramovich is taking a vested interest in a possible £100million move for the 25-year-old.
The report also claimed that the Icardi tops Chelsea’s list of players to be signed this January.
Icardi is one of the top strikers the Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri wants to sign this month.
Sarri is eager to bring in a new attacker before the end of the transfer window this month following striker, Olivier Giroud’s injury and Alvaro Morata’s poor form this campaign.
