Former England midfielder, Paul Scholes, has told Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho the best position to play Alexis Sanchez.
According to Scholes who spent most of his playing days at Old Trafford, Sanchez is most dangerous on the wing.
He said the Chilean ‘struggles’ when he moves more centrally.
Sanchez joined the Red Devils during the January transfer window in a straight swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Scholes told BT Sports that the 29-year-old Sanchez, has not been ‘magnificent’ since leaving Arsenal but added he expects the former Barcelona player to begin to flourish at Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
The former England midfielder said, “As soon as the ball comes into the middle of the park I think he struggles.
“He doesn’t seem to be aware of what’s around him.
“He’s started okay [at United], it’s not been magnificent or brilliant but I expect more to come from him.”
