Former Chelsea winger, Pat Nevin has warned the club against selling forward, Eden Hazard to Real Madrid this summer.
Hazard, who had scored 12 goals and made six assists in 34 games in the Premier League this season, has been linked with a potential move to Real since winning his first Premier League title at Chelsea in 2015.
The Blues have been unable to tie down the 27-year-old to a long-term deal with two years left on his current deal.
Nevin, however, warned the West London club that they will need a drastic overhaul should Hazard leave Stamford Bridge for the Los Blancos.
“Hazard has been pivotal to most of the things Chelsea have done well,” Nevin told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“If you lose him, you change everything. Most of the good things go through Hazard.”
Hazard scored the winner from the penalty spot when Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley earlier this month.
