EPL: Mourinho speaks on Martial leaving Manchester United

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has again insisted that he will not allow Anthony Martial leave the club.

Martial, 22, has struggled for game time in recent weeks, particularly after Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January.

Reports in France this week, suggested Martial wants to leave Old Trafford, after growing frustrated with his role under Mourinho.

But the Manchester Evening News reports that Mourinho will not sanction the move.

The Portuguese last month insisted. he does not want to make any attacking changes in the summer.

“We have Alexis, we have Romelu Lukaku, we have Martial, we have Rashford.

“Rashford can play on the left and on the right, Alexis is exactly the same, all of them apart from Lukaku can also play from behind, they can also play as a second striker.”

“It’s bad for you [the media] because you like to have things to write and things to speculate especially in the summer, but I don’t want attacking players so don’t speak about attacking players coming here because nobody is coming here.

“Juan Mata, Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, Alexis. I don’t want attacking players so for speculation in the summer you have to go to other areas, but for attacking players I am really happy,” Mourinho said.
