Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has revealed players he will use in this weekend’s Premier League game against Brighton.
Mourinho said he was expecting his returning World Cup stars to be ready to be more heavily involved.
The Portuguese tactician guided his side to an opening day 2-1 win and he is hoping to build on the early victory.
The former Chelsea boss was without several big names during last weekend’s game, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku only coming from the bench and less frequent starters such as Juan Mata, Matteo Darmian, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Andreas Pereira starting the game.
“I think we will have the same players [as against Leicester],’ Mourinho told the club’s website.
“I think the injured players aren’t going to be back for Brighton. What we have is Paul [Pogba] with nine days’ training, [Marcus] Rashford with 11 days’ training, [Marouane] Fellaini with nine days’ training and, of course, they will be in a better condition.
“Normally, these boys that [against Leicester] were in a difficult situation will be ready to give a bit more [against Brighton] – more Lukaku, more Rashford, probably Lingard coming back, more Fellaini.
“I think normally we’re going to have more.”
