EPL: Mourinho responds to Pogba’s comments about Manchester United’s attitude at Brighto

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has responded to Paul Pogba’s ‘attitude’ comments in the aftermath of their 3-2 defeat at Brighton last week.

Pogba spoke out after United’s loss on the south coast, questioning the team’s desire and stating his belief that Brighton were hungrier for the three points.

The World Cup winner said: “The attitude that we had was not like we wanted to beat them.

“They had more anger than us and that showed on the pitch. I put myself first. My attitude wasn’t right enough.

“We’ll keep trying and keep pushing and obviously it’s a lesson for us.”

Mourinho was asked about Pogba’s remarks during his Friday press conference and he replied: “Paul said it, he has to answer by his words.

“If you want any explanation about Paul’s words, you must get him and ask him.”
