EPL: Mourinho ready to allow Manchester United players leave

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has made it clear that he is willing to sanction a move away from the club, for any player who is unhappy and wants to leave.

One year ago, United sold Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton and Memphis Depay to Lyon for a combined £37million, after both fell out of favour during Mourinho’s first season at Old Trafford.

Mourinho refused to rule out bringing new signings in January, but is open to allowing players leave.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is among those struggling to get into Mourinho’s team after failing to even make the bench in seven of the last eight games.

Luke Shaw, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind are also on the fringes of the squad, while Marouane Fellaini has only six months left on his contract.

“I think for the right price. That’s my approach as a manager.

“I think every player has a price. If a player is not happy, if a player brings with him the request with the number that we consider a good number for us – like with Memphis and Morgan – I would never say no,” Mourinho told a news conference on Friday.
