Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has named three clubs that he feels are the right candidates to win this season’s Premier League title ahead of his team.

According to Mourinho, the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are the three qualified candidates for the English topflight league title this term, more than United.

The 55-year-old stated this ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Metro UK quoted Mourinho as saying on in his pre-match press conference on Friday: “We will have Juventus away before Manchester City, we will have Valencia away before Liverpool in this part of the season we play away against possibly the three biggest candidates for the title, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City so the calendar was not nice to us.”

Asked about the atmosphere inside the dressing room, Mourinho replied: “The mood is fine. Our last couple of weeks was positive, that second half against the Newcastle.

“The match against Chelsea, against Juve it was really hard, we fought hard. We had a very positive game against Everton. The mood is positive. They’re fine.”

Mourinho’s side are currently occupying the eight position in the Premier League table with 17 points from 10 games.
