EPL: Mourinho confirms Manchester United defenders for the season

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has named the defenders that will start the reason for the Red Devils.
Following United’s difficulty in landing Tottenham’s £75million valued Belgium defender, Tobby Alderweireld, Mourinho has decided to hold on to what is available.
Addressing a press conference on Friday as Manchester United continue their pre-season tour in US, Mourinho confirmed his defence for the start of the Premier League campaign.
The Portuguese said, “Valencia, Smalling, Bailly and Shaw, they are probably the ones to start the season.”
The former Chelsea boss spoke after United’s 1-1 draw with Club America in their opening pre-season tour friendly.
Juan Mata equalised for the Red Devils with 13 minutes to play in Arizona. United will kick-off their Premier League campaign against Leicester City, and for the first time in Premier League history, the transfer window will close before the first match.
