Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not stay at the club beyond this season.
Ibrahimovic extended his stay at Old Trafford by one year last summer and recently made a return from the knee injury he suffered in the 2016/2017 campaign.
However, the Swedish striker has not featured for the Red Devils this year and has only returned to training after a knee problem.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash at Crystal Palace, Mourinho announced that the player will be leaving.
“We all think it is his last season at Manchester United. Very personal decision about whether to play on or stop.
“He has earned the right to choose his future.”
