Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, on Saturday broke former Red Devils boss, Sir Alex Ferguson’s record following his side’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Goals from Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford gave Mourinoh’s men a deserve three points against the hosts.
According to Metro UK, the result against Fulham means Mourinho now becomes the manager in United’s history to reach 50 Premier League win quicker than Ferguson.
The report added that the Portuguese gaffer needed 92 games to reach 50 wins, while Ferguson, who took charge of United in November 1986, required 115 matches to register 50 league wins as coach.
Mourinho’s side now sit on sixth positions on the Premier League table with 26 points from 16 games.
United will now tackle Liverpool next week Sunday in the Premier League fixture.
