Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has said it was “harder to accept” Paul Pogba’s mistake that led them to a shock 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday.
Manchester United took the lead through Fred but Wolves secured a point at Old Trafford following Joao Moutinho’s goal in the second half.
In the build-up to Wolves’ equaliser, Pogba was dispossessed in midfield after he spent too long on the ball and tried an elaborate turn.
The former Real Madrid boss insisted Pogba was fully aware that he would have little time when in possession against Wolves.
“It is a situation where the players knew perfectly that they press in midfield,” Mourinho told BT Sports.
“You don’t have much time to have the ball, to turn, to one-touch. You know you don’t have much of that.
“So you concede in a situation that it’s harder to accept.
“That is one goal you concede. You have 90 minutes to show a different attitude. And I think we have to do better.”
