EPL: Morata sends strong warning to Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City after Chelsea beat Arsenal

Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata has sent a strong message to Premier League rivals, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham, following his side’s 3-2 victory over Arsenal in Saturday’s fixture.

Goals from Pedro, Morata and Alonso ensured victory for the Blues against the Gunners at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening as Mkhitaryan and Iwobi scored for the visitors.

Morata, however, said it would be difficult for the EPL rivals to get a point at their home ground this season, adding that Maurizio Sarri’s men can make Stamford Bridge a fortress again.

“Other teams need to fight a lot to get something here,” Morata told Chelsea TV.

“Here is our home and it’s difficult to get something here.

“This is the message we need to send to other teams. Here is our home and it’s difficult to get something here.

“We are very happy because we deserved the victory.

“We need to improve little things, but we played good with the ball. A very important three points for us.”

He added: “I only want to win. Now we can go home happy because we have the three points, another victory.

“The supporters are always happy if we win.

“For sure we don’t want a lot of goals in our goal, but if we win all the team and all the supporters are happy.”

Morata will be hoping to start again for the Blues when they face Newcastle United at the St James’ Park in their next EPL fixture on Sunday, August 26.
