AC Milan sporting Director, Massimiliano Mirabelli has stated that Manchester United midfielder, Marouane Fellaini will leave the Red Devils this summer.
Mirabelli, however, admits that Milan have not yet agreed a deal for the Belgian international.
“Fellaini could be an important player,” Mirabelli told Milan TV.
“We know he is not going to renew with United, but it’s difficult to say that we have closed the deal. He has important attributes. We will do something in that role, but we are keeping everything in reserve.
“First, we have to secure our signings, then announce them.”
Meanwhile, Fellaini joined United from Everton in 2013 and has since scored 20 goals for the club in 155 appearances.
The 30-year-old current contract at United is due to expire this summer, although the Red Devils coach, Jose Mourinho has claimed that an agreement is “in place” to extend Fellaini’s spell at Old Trafford.
