Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial has reportedly expressed his disappointment following manager, Jose Mourinho’s decision to drop him from the Red Devils’ squad that were defeated 3-0 by Tottenham in Monday’s Premier League clash.
Goals from Kane (1) and Lucas Moura (2) ensured victory for the Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Martial wasn’t even named on the bench for Mourinho’s side.
According to French radio station, RMC Sport, the France international was shocked with Mourinho’s decision, and finds it ‘incomprehensible’ that he was left out.
Martial, who wasn’t called up to the France squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer, started United’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton last week.
The winger was hauled off on the 60 minute mark, and replaced by Marouane Fellaini, before being completely overlooked for the Spurs game.
The 22-year-old watched from the stands, and wasn’t even an option to come on after being left out of the matchday squad by Mourinho.
Mourinho’s men will face Burnley this weekend in their next EPL fixtures.
