Sadio Mane has cleared the air on a reported rift with Liverpool teammate, Mohamed Salah.
There were reports suggesting that the Senegalese does not see eye to eye with his Egyptian Liverpool teammate.
Salah has scored 23 goals, earning him widespread praise and prestigious personal accolades.
He won 2017 African Player of the Year in Ghana yesterday and Mane has moved to quash any talk of a rift between the two star forwards at Liverpool.
Speaking in Ghana as Salah beat him to the top prize, Mane said, “We’re in the same team and we’re happy to be in the same team.
“We are happy to play together. We always enjoy playing alongside [each other]. We are looking forward.”
