Manchester United players have already begun the discussion on the possibility of former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane to replace Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, Daily Mail reports.
This is after a disastrous start to the season for the Red Devils.
A section of United players are already expecting the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager to get sacked sooner than later.
The players are believing that the Portuguese will be sacked if United are beaten by Burnley on Sunday.
Mourinho has overseen back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur and to United the last two weeks.
The Red Devils are already six points off the pace at the top of the Premier League.
The players believe it’s inevitable Mourinho will be shown the door and they are openly conversing about former Real Madrid manager Zidane arriving at the club.
“They are saying Jose will be gone soon,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“Some think he’ll be out if they lose at Burnley. Others can’t see him lasting beyond September.
“We’ve seen this before and it just feels the same. The club will say it’s supporting Jose but we all saw what happened with Louis [van Gaal].
“The players are already talking about the possibility of Zidane coming in.”
