Olivier Giroud’s bullet header ensured that Arsenal drew 1-1 with Manchester United at Old Trafford, in the Premier League’s early kick off on Saturday.
The home side started brightly and had several chances to score in the first half. But it was until the second half, before Juan Mata ran onto Ander Herrera’s pass, to give Jose Mourinho’s men the lead.
Arsenal responded well and Arsene Wenger sent on Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to salvage a point late on.
The England winger’s cross found Giroud inside the area and he powered a header past David De Gea.
Wenger has now failed to beat Mourinho in 14 competitive matches.
