Manchester City will on Sunday evening take on Manchester United in the Premier League derby clash at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side head to the game following a 6-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night in the Champions League encounter.

Guardiola will be without the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Claudio Bravo and Eliaquim Mangala due to injuries.

The Spaniard will have to decide between strikers, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus who get the nod to lead the attack line.

Winger, Raheem Sterling is expected to start for the hosts, while Guardiola will have to decide who to start between Riyad Mahrez and Leroy Sane from the flank.

Midfielders, David Silva, Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva are expected to start for the hosts in the middle of the park.

Defender, Benjamin Mendy will return at left-back having sat out in midweek, while Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi will look to challenge Aymeric Laporte and John Stones for a starting berth in the centre-back.

Meanwhile, Manchester United head to the game following a 6-0 victory over Juventus in the Champions League encounter played on Wednesday.

United manager, Jose Mourinho will be without the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Diogo Dalot due to injuries.

Mourinho’s side defeated City 3-2 in their last encounter in the Premier League back in April.

Mourinho on Friday confirmed that he will still make use of the squad that defeated Juventus in midweek when they tackle Guardiola’s men.

Manchester City’s potential starting XI: Ederson; Mendy, Laporte, Stones, Walker; Silva, Fernandinho, Bernardo; Sane, Aguero, Sterling

Manchester United’s potential starting XI: De Gea, Shaw, Lindelof, Smalling, Young; Pogba, Matic, Herrera; Martial, Lukaku, Sanchez

The kick-off time for the match is 5:30pm.
